Mark Brown founded LINKS Magazine in 1987 and held the position of editor for seven years. Cindy Brown's skills in graphic design and her background in marketing helped her fill a key role in the early development stages of LINKS as well. During his time with LINKS Mark traveled extensively in the U.S., the British Isles and Europe and formed relationships with some of the key people in the worldwide golf community. For Mark it was a dream come true and an invaluable learning experience that opened the doors to many opportunities - and eventually led to the founding of Mark Brown & Associates.

While defining the editorial focus of LINKS Magazine and guiding the fledgling publication through the difficult early stages he came to be knowledgable in virtually every aspect of both the game of golf and the business of golf development. Since leaving LINKS and founding Mark Brown & Associates 10 years ago, Mark has continued to gather knowledge about the golf residential development industry and hone the skills necessary to successfully market golf residential properties for his clients.

Building on this solid foundation, the ongoing mission of Mark Brown & Associates is to provide a full complement of marketing and consulting services to golf course residential community developers.
